Spotlight on … Annie

Hello my friends, Spot here!

I hope you’ve all had a nice weekend, and had some Valentine treats? My mummy gave me some extra chicken treats and the others had some funny liver paste stuff, but I didn’t like that πŸ™‚

So, we’re back to our Spotlight series this week, and with only three cats left to feature, today I’m going to let you know some more about little Annie πŸ™‚

Annie, like her brother Spike, was born on 19th April 2014 so she’s nearly 10 months old. Whilst Spike was always the largest of the 4 kittens in the litter, Annie was always the smallest. AND she was also always the naughtiest! Sue the breeder said that it wasn’t unusual at dinner time for her to call all the babies, and three would come running for their dinner but not little Annie! No! She was far too busy exploring something new or finding some mischief to get into! And not much has changed… πŸ˜†

Here’s a pic of her when she was around a month old

When Annie was only a few weeks old, she developed an overshot jaw. This means that her top jaw juts out a little over her bottom jaw. Whilst this is purrfectly ok, Β and she has no ill effects from it, it does mean that she is unable to compete in the normal pedigree classes in pet shows πŸ™‚ But that’s ok as she competes in the Pedigree Pet section of Household Pets instead! And so far she has done very well πŸ™‚

Annie came to live with us in the middle of July when she was 13 weeks old and she soon settled in though she still looked so tiny!

So tiny!

She soon discovered how nice it was to go outdoors in the cat garden and she loves spending time in there when the weather isn’t too nasty πŸ™‚

But she does try and escape now and again too! That naughty streak shows itself 😯

Naughty girl!

So it’s a good job she’s been used to wearing her walking jacket from a young age, she can explore beyond the cat garden safely

But she wasn’t too sure about the snow… showing she is a bit of a fair weather cat! πŸ™‚

Not sure of all this white stuff

So the best place for Annie to be is on top of a perch where she can see all that’s going on around her and contemplate her next naughty move! πŸ™‚

That just about sums up our naughty but cute little girl, Annie! There’s only two more kitties left to be written aboutΒ in our Spotlight series so tune in next week to find out who it will be! Or if you’ve missed any, you can always scroll back and catch up with all the Bengal Cat World kitties that have been featured already! πŸ™‚

Take care my friends!

Love from Spot

    1. Thank you, John and Elftone too! My spell checker changed that to Elton … you’re not related to him by any chance are you? lol πŸ™‚

  1. Spot, can see that cute and petite Annie is a real bundle of mischief. Am so happy your Mum and Dad decided to adopt both her and Spike. It seems she is born to be an inquisitive little bundle and that’s what leads her into her various mischievous moments.

  2. Brilliant blog as usual Spotty cat, you’ve chosen some lovely photos of Annie. I’m sure you’ve given her some ideas about being naughty!! <3 <3

  3. What a lovely Blog Spot………………….Annie is a real cutie pie………she has the same lovely lear gaze that you have….beautiful baby! [and you didn’t think you would like her! hah! ] πŸ˜€
