Strange weekend…?

Hello my friends, Spot here!

What a funny weekend we’ve had! My mummy has been busy making things ready for our craft show and cat show next weekend, while we’ve been chillin’ out in the sun in our cat garden 🙂 Someone said it was Mother’s Day here in the UK today, so I suppose we should have helped, but we find the glue gets in our fur and it’s not a good look 😯

But somehow we managed to lose an hour today? My daddy said it’s because you hoomins mess with the clocks 😯 but all I know is that I got my dinner – a nice bowl of tuna cat food – nice and early, before Lula had even started her daily ritual of pacing and miaowing and generally making a nuisance of herself until our hoomins get so fed up, they get our food out just to shut her up! I’m glad she does that as it saves me a job 😆

Another unusual thing about this weekend was that we had lots of lovely sunshine! It’s been a lot warmer than it usually is at this time of year, so, being a fair weather cat, it meant I actually enjoyed spending time in the cat garden with Lula 🙂 Here’s what we got up to:

Do you sometimes get the feeling someone is copying you, my friends? I certainly had that today! 😆

Take care!

Love from Spot

  1. It’s good that Lula made herself useful by getting the hoomins up and feeding you until today. I’m sure she’ll have to start up again as soon as you all adjust to that messing with the clocks business! ♥

  2. You two are so incredibly beautiful! I just love the pictures your daddy gets of you 🙂 He certainly knows how to capture what you’re thinking and since we hoomins have trouble sometimes understanding the complex language of you kitties, his pictures certainly helps a lot! It’s late Sunday afternoon here, and it’s on the warm side and very sunny today! My furbabies are enjoying inspecting the yard today, too. It snowed a bit last night but it was melted by this afternoon. I wish you and Lula the best of luck at your show next week! I love you all at BCW <3

    1. Hello Lisa! Thanks for your lovely comments 😉 It was actually my mummy who took these pics 😉 But daddy is planning on taking some soon we think 🙂 We’ve not had any snow this year, Lula said she was quite sad as she likes playing in the snow <3 xxx

  3. Happy Mother’s Day to mummy! Kitty mommies love their babies so much. Try to get to bed extra early to help.ctch up, we did this change a few weeks ago and it does take adjusting. 😆

  4. Love the photos your Mummy took, you’re both such beautiful kitties. I thought you might have had lots of catnaps today Spotty one as you had to get up an hour earlier than usual, or are you going to bed an hour earlier tonight. You’re very lucky with your weather, the fog was worse today than it was yesterday so apart from popping out to get my paper I’ve been in all day xx ♥ ♥

    1. I managed to fit a few catnaps in, Edna! I don’t miss out on sleep just because of silly things you hoomins do! 🙂 xxxx

  5. So nice to see you both enjoying your garden. Our clocks don’t change til next weekend when we get back that hour that was stolen 6 months ago! It’s supposed to be Autumn here in Oz, but today’s forecast is for high 80’s , so I was up early to give the garden a good watering to try and keep the flowers alive for a little longer.
Are you both in the upcoming Show or are you just supporting Mum’s stand ?

  6. Awww how many lovely pics you had there Spot! <3 I think you are smart to have Lula shout for food, because then you get at the same time if you just look a bit hungry… 😉 Smart thinking. Oh i do really see that Lula was copying you today 😯 , didn´t you get tired of it 👿 and telling her off? Or did you think she was cute to like your movements so she had to copy you?

    1. I always think that imitation can be very flattering, Betta, so I don’t mind if she copies me 😆 xxxx

  7. funny post, Spot!! lovely piccies of the both of you in the garden 😉 . . . we had ‘white stuff’ over the weekend 😯 — hopefully the last of it!!! have a blessed, pawsome week BCW!! love all of you!! <3 <3 <3
