Hello my friends, Spot here!
Phew! What a day! Spring has definitely sprung and it’s the first Spring for the Peskies in our World! They are of course Spring babies, but they were too young to remember Spring last year so this is their first proper one π
And I reckon the dawning of Spring and our recent solar eclipse has unleashed an even naughtier streak in the Peskies … or in Spike at least! You’ll never guess what he did today…..
I was there in the sunshine in the cat garden, minding my own business, when suddenly I found myself surrounded!
So I told the two of them that it was rude to surround their elders…. Annie soon went away but Spike stood his ground! I therefore had to try and teach himΒ the difference between polite and not-so-polite behaviour in my sternest possible tone…
But he still wasn’t listening, so I decided to show a helping paw to try and make him go away….
But then he attacked me! What a naughty boy! π―
So we had a bit of a play fight for a while (which I of course won π ) and only then did he go away!
Annie, meanwhile, had decided to watch it all from under the cat house π She’s just too skinny and little π
Lula’s too big to fit under the cat house, so she stayed by the bamboo and watched the entertainment (mental note made that she didn’t try and help me…. twin sisters, eh?) (Maybe it’s because I pounced on her yesterday?)
But pretty soon, it was all over, and Annie went back to chasing Spike, Lula kept her eye out for some early bugs and I went and had a nice catnap in mummy’s office π

I suspect he will be bigger than you some day! He is trying out his strength on you for future battles. Maybe you should form an alliance with all the others to keep him in line! Roar!

Ooh Ooh Poor Spot, I am happy to hear that you put that little pesky youngster in his place, I guess he wishes to see if he can become the Boss around, do not let him Spot otherwise you have a huge fight on your hands with him. I have the idea that it is just because you had to be indoors all Winter long soo now Spike and Annie need to get rid of their excess Energy !!! I believe you made the smartest move by going to Mummy’s office and have a very nice long peaceful nap and leave the Peskies to Lula, smart thinking Spot, a great cunning idea. Well I take my leave now, I am soo tired and I should have been in bed a few hours ago but had too much fun talking to some friends via the internet.
